Surat is the fastest growing city in India and now people have started understanding the meaning of Digital Marketing and the use of social media for marketing as well. Last year, on 30 June, Surat witnessed the very first Social Media Day Surat celebration which was organized by iVIPANAN Digital Marketing and Management Services – pioneer of digital marketing in Surat. Many people participated in that event and the thirst to know more about social media marketing increased thereafter. Now, as youngsters and professionals are understanding the actual use of social media for the growth of the business or to choose as a career, this year iVIPANAN is coming up with the another grand celebration on 30 June 2017, Friday.
From last 7 years, Mashable is celebrating World Social Media Day globally and, the first time in 2016 it was celebrated in Surat. The event was celebrated with a seminar conducted by myself only (Bhautik Sheth). The topic of the seminar was “Social Media Marketing 101” which described the fundamental way of using social media for marketing. Many people had doubts before attending that event but eventually, after the event, they understood the use of social media in the right manner.
This year, along with me, other 2 speakers are going to join. Dr.Rohit Singh is an Associate Dean of Auro University in Surat and he will deliver the session on “Effectiveness of Social Media in Branding” while Nishi Dave is Marketing and Media Consultant who is coming all the way from Ahmedabad. She will deliver the session on “The Role of Social Media in Marketing Communication”. I will deliver a session on “Building Social Relationship through Story Telling”. The seminar will start at sharp 6 PM.
